This three-storey beach residence in Sydney was redesigned with a modern, minimalist approach. The project involved a complete interior demolition and re-planning to better suit the client’s lifestyle. A restrained palette of grey and white tones, requested by the client, was applied throughout to create a calm, contemporary atmosphere.
The process
Smoked glass behind the TV creates a refined backdrop, adding depth and contrast to the living space while reflecting light subtly throughout the room. It also helps conceal wiring and media components, keeping the aesthetic clean and uncluttered.
A combination of timber and polished concrete flooring adds warmth and texture while keeping the palette restrained. Recessed linear LED lighting provides soft, even illumination and highlights the clean architectural lines across the ceiling and joinery.
